My name is Lera Worman and I am from Sandy Utah. My Journey with the ISR Self Rescue program began in 2017 when I witnessed first hand, the quality and effectiveness of the life saving skills that infants and young children can learn! I completed my Eight week in-water ISR instructor training in Milford, Ohio. My training included relevant education in child anatomy, physiology, psychology and behavioral theory. My relevent experience as a competitive swimmer for Alta high School, swim team coach, and swim lesson instructor complemented my fit with the ISR program. I am so excited to help expand ISR in Colorado!
I am a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, specializing in the technique of Corrective Exercise and am certified in the Functional Movement Screening system. I worked Four summers for the US Forest Service as a Wildland Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician based in Southern Utah and then in New Mexico. I traveled around the US responding to wildfires and served as my fire crews EMT. I opened my own personal training business in 2017 called Total Body Total Health and Fitness. My business motto is "First Move Well, Then Move Often." I now compete in Triathlons multiple times per year. The ISR program provides a great environment for me to express my love of children, my love of perfect movement and my love of the water!
